- Prepare the Sandwich Dressing: In a bowl, mix together the Heinz Mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Lea & Perrins sauce, and syrup until well-blended.
- Prepare the Pickled Vegetables: In a sauce pot, combine water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, then stir in the Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar. Place the julienned carrots and cucumbers in a bowl and pour the liquid over them. Pickle for at least one hour.
- Cook the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Saute the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the beef and stir-fry quickly over high heat until just cooked and tender. Season with salt and black pepper, then add the Heinz BBQ sauce and toss until well-coated. Set aside.
- Assembly: Heat the baguette until crisp. Slice horizontally and spread the Sandwich Dressing on both sides. Layer the bottom with lettuce, then add the BBQ beef. Top with pickled vegetables and cilantro. Close the sandwich and enjoy.
