BBQ Beef Banh Mi

Main Ingredients
150 gam Beef (yakiniku cut, 0.5 cm)
10 gam Minced Garlic
15 ml Vegetable Oil
150 gam Heinz Classic BBQ Smokey & Rich Sauce
1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1/4 tsp (or to taste) Salt
3 tsp Mayonnaise Heinz
Banh mi
Pickled Vegetables
150 gam Carrot
100 gam Cucumber
100 ml Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar
Cilantro
Lettuce
All-Purpose Sandwich Dressing
150 gam Heinz Mayonnaise
20 gam Heinz Tomato Ketchup
5 gam Heinz Mustard
1/2 tsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
10 gam Syrup

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sandwich Dressing: In a bowl, mix together the Heinz Mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Lea & Perrins sauce, and syrup until well-blended.
  • Prepare the Pickled Vegetables: In a sauce pot, combine water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, then stir in the Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar. Place the julienned carrots and cucumbers in a bowl and pour the liquid over them. Pickle for at least one hour.
  • Cook the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Saute the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the beef and stir-fry quickly over high heat until just cooked and tender. Season with salt and black pepper, then add the Heinz BBQ sauce and toss until well-coated. Set aside.
  • Assembly: Heat the baguette until crisp. Slice horizontally and spread the Sandwich Dressing on both sides. Layer the bottom with lettuce, then add the BBQ beef. Top with pickled vegetables and cilantro. Close the sandwich and enjoy.
