New Viet Dairy and Operation Smile Vietnam Continue Their Journey of Spreading Love<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Sometimes, miracles don\u2019t come from fairy tales \u2013 they come from the hearts of those who quietly believe that every child deserves to smile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To bring brighter futures to children born with cleft lips and palates, over the past year, New Viet Dairy<\/a> continued its collaboration with the nonprofit medical organisation Operation Smile Vietnam<\/a> and the Vietrace365 virtual running platform to organise the 2024 charity run \u201cRun Love\u00a0 Smile.\u201d This marks the third year that New Viet Dairy has carried out this meaningful journey, joining hands to offer a more complete life for children across Vietnam.<\/p>\n

With the mission “Spreading Smiles \u2013 Connecting Futures,” the program not only marked a meaningful milestone by successfully raising 350 million VND \u2014 equivalent to 35 free surgeries for underprivileged children \u2014 but also served as a symbol of unity and compassion from New Viet Dairy\u2019s employees, partners, and community through the third season of Run Love Smile.<\/p>\n

A Charity Run That Turns Every Step Into a Smile<\/h2>\n

In response to this meaningful initiative, New Viet Dairy employees, friends, and partners collectively accumulated over 386,794 kilometres, equivalent to thousands of heartfelt steps taken across the country.<\/p>\n

Through this activity, a total of 350,000,000 VND was raised, enabling 35 life-changing surgeries for children with cleft lip and palate across Vietnam<\/p>\n

Every step counted \u2013 each kilometre not only represented a personal challenge but also symbolised compassion, hope, and a real chance at a brighter life for a child in need.<\/p>\n

A Touching Opening Ceremony at University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City<\/b><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Last week, New Viet Dairy had the honour of attending the opening ceremony of Operation Smile 2024 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The event welcomed doctors, volunteers, sponsors, children, and their families.<\/p>\n

On that day, 79 children were screened, and 51 were successfully surgery from April 12 to April 17, 2024. Highly skilled medical professionals from University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City directly carried out the safe and human-centred procedures.<\/p>\n

In addition, Operation Smile Vietnam volunteers and New Viet Dairy staff supported families with admission procedures, gifted care packages, and stood by the children to bring warmth and reassurance ahead of their operations.<\/p>\n

Children born with facial deformities not only face physical challenges related to health, speech, and eating but are also at risk of social exclusion, discrimination, and low self-esteem. Every surgery helps not just to transform appearances but also to restore hope and improve children\u2019s chances of integrating fully into society.<\/p>\n

With over 63,000 surgeries performed in Vietnam since 1989, Operation Smile continues its mission to bring both literal and symbolic smiles to thousands of children nationwide.<\/p>\n
