On June 3, 2025, at Emart Sala supermarket (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), a Canadian beef trade promotion event was held successfully and vibrantly. A creative twist on a traditional Hanoi dish, featuring tender Canadian beef short plate with light marbling, rolled with fresh herbs and rice paper, and served with a tangy dipping sauce – preserving the soul of Vietnamese cuisine while highlighting the richness of Canadian beef.
- Shaking Beef:
Lean yet juicy Canadian top blade, flash-fried over high heat with garlic, onions, bell peppers, and black pepper – creating a dish that is both familiar and full of flavor.
Minister RJ Sigurdson personally prepared the fresh spring rolls alongside Chef Duc, a moment that not only honored Vietnamese cuisine but also served as a vivid expression of culinary harmony between global ingredients and local cooking techniques.
