Coastal winds power turbines that convert breezes into energy, and Yealands remains the only New Zealand winery to use specially designed burners for grapevine prunings, eliminating over 180 tons of greenhouse gases annually.

Their dedication to reducing carbon emissions also shines in their innovative use of miniature Babydoll sheep and Kunekune pigs. These helpful creatures naturally tidy vineyard rows, provide healthy doses of organic fertilizer, and significantly reduce tractor mowing.
